We are a Christian-based non-profit organisation based in the Garden Route, celebrating over 15 years of service to the community.
We build partnerships and work collaboratively with the public and private sector as well as local organisations in order to serve when and where it is needed most. Our rainbow of hope spans health care, care and support of the elderly and children, food security, education & training and poverty alleviation.
Community Health Care is the foundation of Masithandane and we breathe CARE in everything we do. We provide community and home care services to the sick, elderly and vulnerable; health talks and screenings. Our Care and Respite centre offers 24/7 compassionate care.
We empower socio-economically challenged learners through bursary funding, learner support programmes and a safe environment to learn and grow.
Our Community Health and Child and Youth Care Programme, Early Childhood Development Centre and Interactive Mosaic Community Project create stable job opportunities within the community while providing much-needed services and community upliftment.
Food security is a key service provided by our team. We provide food parcels; supply community kitchens and provide meals at our base to all those in need. We enable projects that serve the greatest community needs of the time, such as the creation and distribution of free masks or aid in SASSA grant applications.
After many weeks of patiently waiting for 'the present', as referred to by some local kids, has had it's 'wrapping' removed and our Sedgefield Community and visitors can a enjoy what was behind the festive orange and yellow screens:
A belated but very greatful Thank You to Jan for knitting bags full of beautiful warm jerseys for our children in need, and to for Carrol for organizing. May you be blessed.
The Gericke's bench renewed and restored and beautiful once more. A gift returned to the community with the help of the Sedgefield Community Mosaic Project Crafters and the Casais family.
